私はタイで生活を始めた当時はタイの政治について殆ど知らずに、単純に料理が美味しいとか、人がよさそうとか、気候が良いという理由でタイに住む事を決めたのですが、その中でも一番の決め手は料理でした。
When I first started living in Thailand, I didn’t know much about Thai politics. I simply decided to live in Thailand because the food was delicious, the people were friendly, and the climate was good. The food, in particular, was the deciding factor for me.
私がオーストラリアに住んでいた時に輸入雑貨の販売をして、いくつかのアジアの国に廻っていましたが、タイの料理は一番美味しいと思いました。そして、やっぱり長く生活する事を考えた時に料理は絶対に大切です。オーストラリア生活で学んだわけではありません＾＾；
I used to sell imported goods in Australia and traveled to several Asian countries, but I found that Thai cuisine was the most delicious. And when you think about living somewhere for a long time, food is absolutely important. I didn’t learn this from my life in Australia.
私は日本人なので、日本料理が一番好きですが、日本料理を抜かした時にはタイ料理がかなり上位だと思っています。今日は完全に私の独断と偏見のタイ料理トップ20位を発表します。
As a Japanese person, I love Japanese cuisine the most, but I think Thai cuisine is definitely one of the top cuisines when excluding Japanese cuisine. Today, I will announce my completely arbitrary and biased top 20 Thai dishes.

本当は名前が分からないだけで、このランキングにもっと入ってくる料理はあるのですが、今後分かったら更新をしていきたいと思います。ここの上位のいくつかは今後作ってみたいですね。
