今日は犬の日だそうです。
Today, it is a dog day.
私の実家でも以前、ミニチュアダックスを飼っていました。物凄く人懐っこく可愛い犬でした。
In my childhood home, we used to have a miniature dachshund. He was incredibly friendly and cute.
誰が来ても、尻尾を振って大喜びします。
No matter who came, he would wag his tail and become overjoyed.
私の実家に来ていた宅配便のおじさんなども、たまに犬が散歩に出かけていないとがっかりしていました。
Even the delivery person who came to my house would sometimes be disappointed if the dog was out for a walk.
うちの犬は宅配便のおじさんが来ても、大喜びで駆け寄っていって、顔をペロペロと舐めます。
Our dog would happily run up to the delivery person and lick their face.
しかも、その後に私のところに来て、私の顔をペロペロしたりします。
And then, he would come to me and lick my face too.
マジでおっさん舐めた後にペロペロしてくるなよって思ってしまいました。
I really couldn’t believe he would lick the delivery person’s face first and then come straight to me.
しかも、私の顔を舐めた後に時々えずいたりします。
Moreover, sometimes after licking my face, he would cough.
マジで気分が悪い。
It seriously made me feel uncomfortable.
俺の顔はそんなに油っぽいのか？
Is my face really that greasy?
胃にもたれてんじゃねえ。
I hope it’s not giving him indigestion.
