私は基本的にお酒はビールが好きです。私は貧乏ですから、基本的には安い焼酎ばかりを家では飲んでいます。ただ、外で生ビールを飲む機会がある時にはビールばかりを飲んでいますし、家で飲むときには、最初の一杯目だけはビールを飲む事が多いです。
I generally enjoy drinking beer as my choice of alcohol. Since I’m on a tight budget, I mostly drink cheap shochu at home. However, when I have the opportunity to drink beer outside or when I’m at home, I often start with a beer for my first drink.
ビールを500MLを飲み終えた後に焼酎など他の酒に変えるのが基本的な飲み方です。私がオーストラリアに住んでいて他の国の子などとシェアをしていた時には、オーストラリアではワインが安く手に入りますので、殆ど毎日のようにワインを飲んでいました。そして彼らに会っている時には基本的にはワインを飲みます。
The usual drinking practice is to switch to other types of alcohol like shochu after finishing a 500ml beer. When I lived in Australia and shared a house with people from different countries, I drank wine almost every day because it was affordable there. And when I was with them, I typically drank wine as well.
ただ、日本にいるときには基本的にはビールです。ちなみに、海外に旅行に行くときにも基本的にはその国のビールは必ず飲みます。私が今までに飲んだ海外のビールで写真に収めたものがありますので紹を介したいと思います。
However, when I’m in Japan, it’s primarily beer for me. By the way, when I travel abroad, I always make sure to try the local beers. I have some pictures of the beers I’ve had abroad, so I’d like to share them.
カンボジアのビール：カンボジアにも色々なビールがありますが、アンコールビールが一番日本人にあうと思います。
Cambodian Beer: There are various beers in Cambodia, but I think Angkor Beer is the most suitable for Japanese taste.
タイのビール：タイで有名なビールはシンハービールとチャンビールですが、シンハーの方が全然美味しいです。ただ、チャンビールもそれなりに美味しいし安いので私はチャンビールを基本的に飲んでいました。写真が手元になかったので、下の写真はネットからお借りしました。
Thai Beer: Singha Beer and Chang Beer are famous in Thailand, but Singha is much more delicious. However, I usually drank Chang Beer because it’s reasonably tasty and inexpensive. I couldn’t find the pictures, so I borrowed the ones below from the internet.
ラオスのビール：ラオスビールは金と銀があるのですが、どちらもそれなりに美味しいです。若干金の方が美味しく感じました。
Laos Beer: Laos Beer has a gold and silver variety, and both are quite delicious. I slightly preferred the gold one.
フィリピンのビール：サンミゲルというフィリピンのビールは１．５リットルくらいのビンで売っています。もっと、大きいのもあるのかな？私はそれだけで腹一杯になりました。写真が手元になかったので、下の写真はネットからお借りしました。
Filipino Beer: San Miguel is a Filipino beer sold in bottles of about 1.5 liters. I wonder if they have even larger ones? Just one of those is enough to fill me up. I couldn’t find the picture, so I borrowed one from the internet.
台湾のビール：このビールはアンズのビールです。普通のビールと思って買ったらアンズのビールだったので驚きましたが、凄く美味しかったです。台湾では下の台湾ビールがよく売られています。味もけっこういけます。
Taiwanese Beer: This beer is called “Anzu Beer.” I was surprised when I bought it, thinking it was a regular beer, but it turned out to be an apricot-flavored beer. Nevertheless, it was incredibly delicious. In Taiwan, the popular choice is the Taiwanese Beer shown below. It has a pretty good taste too.
