恋人達の日なんて良いですね。そろそろ、寒くなり色々なイベントもありますから、これからカップルは楽しい季節ですね。
It’s nice to have a day for lovers. As it’s getting colder and there are various events, it’s a delightful season for couples.
私は13年以上もデートも手もにぎった事がありませんので、デートってどんな感じだったか？あんまり覚えていません。ちなみに、その前の15年間以上は1年以上の間隔があく事無くずっと彼女がいました。。。という負け惜しみです。
I haven’t been on a date or held hands for over 13 years, so I don’t remember what dating feels like. By the way, for the previous 15 years, I always had a girlfriend without any significant gaps… That’s just me making excuses.
デートだと駅で待ち合わせをして、喫茶店に入って、映画を見て、お昼を食べて、ブラブラ散歩しながら、ショッピングやウインドウショッピングをして、お酒を飲むといった感じでしょうか？私が彼女がいた時には、そんな感じが多かった気がします。
A typical date would involve meeting at a station, going to a café, watching a movie, having lunch, taking a leisurely stroll, doing some shopping or window shopping, and perhaps having a drink. That’s how most of my dates were when I had a girlfriend, I think.
今ならば、もっと大人っぽいバーなどに行くようなデートをしなければならないのでしょうが、そういうデートよりもやはり映画館へ行ったり、遊園地に行ったりというデートがしたいです。年齢的に成長していないのでしょうか？？
Nowadays, I suppose I should go on more mature dates like going to bars, but I still prefer going to the movies or amusement parks. Maybe I haven’t grown up in terms of my preferences?
たまには、デートみたいなものがあっても良いですね。彼女を欲しいと思う気持ちもあるのですが、結婚願望はほとんどありません。この中途半端な気持ちもダメなのかな？
It would be nice to have something like a date once in a while. I do feel the desire to have a girlfriend, but I don’t have much desire to get married. Is this kind of mixed feeling no good?
