お醤油ソフトクリーム | Soy Sauce Soft Serve

鳥取県に行ったときに、鳥取砂丘の目の前に
When I went to Tottori Prefecture, right in front of the Tottori Sand Dunes,

砂の美術館というものがあった。
there was something called the Sand Museum.

その日は、暑かったのでアイスを食べようと思った。
It was a hot day, so I thought I’d get some ice cream.

砂丘ソフトが一番人気かもしれない
The Dune Soft Serve might be the most popular.

私は醤油ソフトが気になってしまった
I found myself curious about the Soy Sauce Soft Serve.

全くどんな味か想像がつかなかったので頼んでみた
I had no idea what it would taste like at all, so I decided to try it.

一口食べてみて驚いた
With the first bite, I was surprised.

完全にアイスに醤油をかけた味がした
It tasted exactly like pouring soy sauce over ice cream.

どんな味って感想を求められたら
If asked for my impression of the taste,

市販のバニラアイスに市販の醤油をかけた味としか言えない
I could only say it tasted like adding store-bought soy sauce to store-bought vanilla ice cream.

アイスを食べる前に
Before eating the ice cream,

「ハーモニー」とか「シナジー」とかの言葉を用意してたのが恥ずかしく思った
I felt embarrassed that I had prepared words like “harmony” or “synergy.”
