私は2018年の3月末まで台湾に住んでいました。台湾は九州くらいの大きさですので、私が台湾にいた時に殆ど全ての観光地を回ったと思います。
I lived in Taiwan until the end of March 2018. Taiwan is approximately the same size as Kyushu, so I believe I visited almost all of the tourist destinations during my time there.
ちなみに、台湾の北は台北といいますが、そこは皆知っていると思います。そして、台湾の東は台東（タイトン）、南は台南（タイナン）、西は台中（タイジョン）です。台中の下にガオションという台北の次に大きな町があります。私はその全てに行って、それらの殆ど全ての観光地を見ていると思います。そして、せっかくたくさん写真を撮ったのですが、あまりここにはアップ出来ていません。せっかくですので、少しだけアップしたいと思います。
By the way, the northern part of Taiwan is called Taipei, which I assume everyone is familiar with. Then, we have Taitung in the east, Tainan in the south, and Taichung in the west. Just below Taichung, there is a town called Gaoshung, the second-largest city after Taipei. I have been to all of these places and explored most of their tourist attractions. Although I took many photos, I haven’t shared many of them here. So, I would like to share a few of them now.
まずは台北の九份です。九份は千と千尋の神隠しのモデルになった場所です。
Let’s start with Jiufen in Taipei, which became the model for the movie “Spirited Away.”

私がここを去った2週間後に大きな地震がありました。私がAirBnBで泊めてもらったオーナーさんは無事だったようで良かったです。
Shortly after I left Hualien, a major earthquake occurred. I was relieved to learn that the owner of the Airbnb where I stayed was safe and unharmed.

最後に私が働いていた台中です。なぜか、台中で働いていたにも関わらず台中だけでは観光をしていません。その為に、台中で通っていたボクシングジムのカードです。私はオーストラリアでもボクシングジムへ通い、タイでもムエタイジムへ通っていました。どの国に行っても、スポーツマンは気持ちの良い奴が多いです。
Lastly, we have Taijun, where I worked. Interestingly, despite working in Taijun, I didn’t get the chance to explore the city as a tourist. Instead, I’ll share a picture of the boxing gym membership card I used while attending a gym in Taijun. I also frequented boxing gyms in Australia and Muay Thai gyms in Thailand. No matter which country I visited, I found that sports enthusiasts are generally friendly and welcoming.
