今日はラオスの凱旋門について書きます。ラオスではブッタパークが一番の見どころではありますが、凱旋門もなにげに良いです。
Today, I will write about the Arc de Triomphe in Laos. While the Buddha Park is the main attraction in Laos, the Arc de Triomphe is surprisingly impressive as well.
私は最初にラオスに行った時には、本当に何もないと思っていたのですが、なぜか二度も行ってしまっていますので何もないと思いながらも、何かを見つけようとするものなのでしょうね。
When I first went to Laos, I thought there wouldn’t be much to see, but for some reason, I ended up visiting twice. It seems that even when we think there is nothing, we still strive to find something.
ちなみに、凱旋門は中に入る事が出来ます。二階に行くと中はお土産屋になっています。そして更に上に行くと展望台のようになっており、そこから街を見渡す事が出来ます。正直、そこまで高い塔という訳ではないですが、それでもそれなりに良い景色でした。
By the way, you can enter the Arc de Triomphe. Inside, on the second floor, there are souvenir shops. If you go up further, you’ll reach an observatory-like area where you can overlook the city. Honestly, it’s not a very tall tower, but the view is still quite nice.
また、凱旋門の下を潜りぬけると天井が一面仏像の絵が書かれているのですが、これも素晴らしかったです。説明するよりも写真や動画を見ていただいた方が良いと思いますので、凱旋門で撮った写真と動画を紹介します。
Additionally, when you pass under the Arc de Triomphe, the ceiling is covered with painted Buddhist images, which is also splendid. Rather than explaining it, I think it would be better for you to see the photos and videos I took at the Arc de Triomphe.
