私がマレーシアに住んでいた時に、本格的なスパイスカレーのお店があった。
When I lived in Malaysia, there was an authentic spice curry restaurant.
間違いなく今までに食べたカレーでダントツ一番美味しいカレーだった。
It was by far the most delicious curry I’ve ever eaten.
写真がその時のカレーなのだが、バナナリーフにご飯もカレーも乗ってくる。

もちろん、スプーンもついていないので手で食べる本格的なスタイルだった。
Of course, it didn’t come with a spoon, so it was an authentic style of eating with your hands.
とても辛いので手が少し痛く、ものすごく汗が吹き出てくる。
It’s so hot that my hands hurt a little and I sweat profusely.
ただ、本当に美味しい。
But it’s really delicious.
私が半分くらい食べた時に、店員が私にスプーンを持ってきた。
When I ate about half of it, the waiter brought me a spoon.
店内をよく見たら、少し先にスプーンが置いてあって、セルフのお店だと分かった。
When I looked inside the store, I saw a spoon placed a little further ahead, and realized that it was a self-service store.
店員もなんで、こいつは手で食べているんだ？みたいな顔をして見ていた。
The staff also looked me like why this guy was eating with his hands.
恥ずかしい！
