かなり以前の話ですが、息子に会った時に息子の血液型を聞き驚きました。まさかのA型でした。私はずっと息子の事をB型だと思っていましたので、まさかのA型に驚きです。
It’s a story from quite some time ago, but I was surprised when I asked my son about his blood type and he turned out to be type A. I had always thought he was type B, so it was a complete surprise to find out he was type A.
私の息子は今年1年生になりましたが、幼稚園の時は園で一番身長が大きかったようです。小学校に上がってからは学年には他にもっと大きい子がいるようですが、クラスでは一番大きいようです。
My son has started first grade this year, but he was the tallest in his kindergarten. In elementary school, there are taller kids in his grade, but he is still the tallest in his class.
私の弟から、こんなに身長が大きくてこんなにきかんぼうだったら将来手に負えなくなるなと言われていました。まさにと思いましたが、それでも性格は最高に最高に良い子なので、きっと素晴らしく成長してくれると確信しています。
My younger brother once told me that if he was so tall and mischievous, he would become uncontrollable in the future. I thought it was true, but I have full confidence that he will grow up wonderfully because he has an amazing personality.
そんな息子ですが、私が息子に会うと大抵が息子に顔を何度かグーでパンチされます。息子に会った後には大抵がアザか引っかき傷が出来ています。私も時々、ビンタを返します。私がビンタをするとグーのパンチが倍になって返してきます。その気持ちの強さも好きです。
Speaking of my son, whenever I meet him, he usually punches me in the face with his fist multiple times. I often end up with bruises or scratches after seeing him. Sometimes, I even give him a light slap. But when I do, he returns the punches with even more force. I admire his strength of spirit.
また、息子は冗談も大好きです。特に下ネタが好きです。みんなで「チッチの１」のゲームをしている時に、「チンチンが１」と言って喜んでいます。また、PPAPが流行った時には「パイパイアッポーアップルペン」と言って喜んでいました。
Furthermore, my son loves jokes, especially those with a bit of a risqué edge. When we play the game “Chicchi no Ichi,” he happily says “Chinchin ga ichi” (meaning “penis is number one”). When the PPAP song was popular, he joyfully sang “Paipai appō” instead.
本当に誰に似たのでしょうか。きっと、そういう部分は元嫁に似たのだと思います。なんて、冗談です。元嫁は下ネタが大嫌いでしたから、残念ながら私の血だと思います。
I wonder whom he takes after. I think he must resemble his mother in those aspects. Just kidding! His mother hated blue jokes, so I believe it’s my blood in him.
別の日には、現在やっているキュウレンジャーの歌の「きゅうきゅうたま」という歌詞を「き●き●たま」と歌っていました。それを聞く前から、私も丸っきり同じ替え歌をしていました。血の濃さが否めません。
On another day, he sang the lyrics of the Kyuranger theme song, “Kyūkyūtama,” as “Ki●ki●tama,” replacing certain parts with inappropriate words. Even before hearing him sing it, I had already made the same parody lyrics. The bloodline is undeniable.
前々回、息子に会った時に、漢字ドリルを買ったのですが、下の漢字ドリルをプレゼントしました。何だよ、これって言いながらもちゃんと持って返っていました。こういうの大好きな部分が似たのかもしれません。勉強頑張れ！私は息子の事が世界で一番大好きです。
During a previous visit, I bought him a kanji drill, and I gave him the one below as a gift. He complained about it, saying, “What’s this?” But he still took it home. Perhaps he inherited my love for these kinds of things. Keep up the good work in your studies! My son is the most beloved person in the world to me.
