今日はマフィアの日だそうです。
Today is Mafia day.
私は現在までにマレーシア、台湾、タイ、オーストラリアに住んでいた事があります。その他にも日本でも色々な場所に住んでいました。海外での引越しもあわせると、現在までに引越しを40回以上しています。本当に色々な場所に住んでいます。
So far, I have lived in Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Australia. I have also lived in various places in Japan. Including moving abroad, I have moved more than 40 times. I have lived in many different places.
また、なぜか分かりませんが、私の周りにはチンピラ風の人が多くいました。完全に過去形です。今は平和です。私がオーストラリアに住んでいた時には、入国検査でタトゥーを入れないと入国出来ないんじゃないかと思えるくらいに、私の周りの人間はタトゥーだらけでした。
I am not sure why, but there used to be many people around me who looked like gangsters. It’s completely in the past now. When I lived in Australia, there were so many people around me with tattoos that I thought I wouldn’t be able to enter the country without one during immigration.
私は現在までに18ヶ国に行っていますが、他の国でも本当にタトゥーをしている人間が多いです。海外は日本のようにタトゥーに偏見がありませんので、入れる人も多いのですが、それでも本当に多いです。
I have been to 18 countries so far, and there are many people with tattoos in other countries as well. People in foreign countries don’t have the same prejudice against tattoos as they do in Japan, so many people get them.
インドネシアで泊まったホテルも1階はタトゥー屋でした。オーストラリアで中国人とシェアをしていた時にも全身タトゥーだらけの奴でした。そこには男二人で住んでいたのですが、首から足まで全身タトゥーの奴が裸で家をウロウロしているので気持ちが悪いです。気持ち悪いのは男が裸でウロウロする事にね。
When I stayed in a hotel in Indonesia, there was a tattoo shop on the first floor. When I shared a house with a Chinese person in Australia, he was covered in tattoos from head to toe. Although we lived together, I found it uncomfortable to see him walking around naked with all those tattoos. I mean, it’s uncomfortable to see a naked man wandering around.
ちなみに、私がオーストラリアに住んでいた時には、日本からシェアする家を探してネット上で契約して、オーストラリアに戻って入居していましたので、入居前は誰が入居しているか誰とシェアするのか分かりませんでした。
By the way, when I was living in Australia, I searched for and contracted a shared house online from Japan, so I didn’t know who I would be sharing the house with before I moved in.
タトゥーをしている人が周りに多くいたので、今はタトゥーを見て全く何か思う事もないです。また、私の周りにはヤクザが多いと言われる事があります。台湾の台中に住んでいた家も地下1階はストリップ的なお店が入っていたので、その周りもヤクザが多いとよく耳にしました。エレベーターでは地下から上がってくるケバ目の女性と一緒に乗り合わせる事も何度かありました。もちろんストリップには行っていませんよ！
Because there were many people around me with tattoos, I don’t think anything of it now. Also, people have said there were many yakuza around me. In the house where I lived in Taichung, Taiwan, there was a strip club on the basement floor, so I often heard about the many yakuza around there. I also rode the elevator with heavily made-up women coming up from the basement some times. Of course, I never went to the strip club.
タイに住んでいた時も、周りは風俗ばかりの場所に住んでいた事もあります。別にそこに住みたかった訳ではなく、そこしか家を貸してもらえなかったので、そこに一時的に住んだ事がありました。もちろん、風俗にも行っていませんよ！
When I lived in Thailand, I also lived in a place surrounded by prostitution venues. I didn’t want to live there, but it was the only place where I could find a house to rent, so I lived there temporarily. Of course, I never went to any of the prostitution places.
海外のことばかり書いていますが、日本でも色々とあったような気がします？たくさんあったような無かったような？全て忘れたかな。
I wrote mainly about things abroad, but I feel like there were also various things that happened in Japan. Maybe there were many things, or maybe there were none at all? I might have forgotten everything.
過去には本当に変わった場所に住むことが多かったように思います。ただ、現在は本当に平和です。ありがたいと思うのはおかしいかもしれませんが、本当に平和で良いです。
In the past, I think I lived in many unusual places, but now everything is really peaceful. It may sound strange to say I am grateful for this, but I really appreciate the peace.
私は今までに犯罪歴もなければ、宗教に入った事も政治的な団体に入った事もありません。なるべく政治的な思想を持たないようにもしています。本当に普通のオッサンです。ただ純粋に、仕事だけに集中した環境に住みたいとは思っているオッサンです。
I have never had a criminal record, and I have never joined any religious or political organizations. I try not to have any strong political beliefs. I am just a regular guy who wants to live in an environment where I can focus on my work.
