今は行きつけの喫茶店がありません。今は家から一番近くてコーヒーが飲めるところはマックになります。そのマックには、以前には週に３回くらいは行ってましたが、あまり近くもないので行かなくなりました。

Now, I don’t have a regular cafe to go to. The nearest place where I can get coffee is McDonald’s. I used to go there about three times a week before, but it’s not very close, so I don’t go there anymore.

また、私は数年前までは台湾に住んでいました。その時は、ほぼ毎日喫茶店に行っていました。台湾は日本よりも暑いためか、至る所にドリンクバーがあります。そして、喫茶店もたくさんあります。私は台中、台北、台東、台南、ガオシャンと色々な場所で生活しましたが、ほぼ全ての場所にお気に入りの喫茶店があります。

By the way, I used to live in Taiwan a few years ago. I went to cafes almost every day back then. There are many cafes and drink bars there, probably because it’s hotter than Japan. I lived in various places such as Taichung, Taipei, Taitung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, and I had favorite cafes almost everywhere.

ちなみに、ドリンクバーではタピオカミルクティーを頼む事が多いですが、喫茶店ではほぼブラックコーヒーです。ブラックコーヒーに甘いケーキやパンなどを一緒に頼むのが、いつものパターンです。

By the way, I often ordered bubble milk tea at drink bars, but I almost always ordered black coffee at cafes. It’s my usual pattern to order black coffee with sweet cakes or bread.

ちなみに、タピオカミルクティーは、お店によっては弾力性を増すために接着剤を使っていたりという噂も聞いたので、信用出来そうな店以外の物はあまり飲まないようにしていました。

By the way, I heard a rumor that some shops use glue to make the bubbles in bubble milk tea more elastic, so I tried not to drink it from shops that I didn’t trust.

台湾は飲物の分化が発展していますから、飲物全般が本当に美味しいと思います。ちなみに、屋台の食べ物も美味しいです。また、台湾に行けたらいいですが。

I think drinks in general are really delicious in Taiwan because their drink culture is so developed. By the way, the food from the night markets is also delicious. I hope I can go to Taiwan again someday.
