I thought the Australians were geniuses at killing quality materials.
ただ、オーストラリアでもパイ、フィッシュ&チップス、ホットケーキなどは美味しい。
However, pies, fish and chips, and pancakes are delicious even in Australia.
下の写真は、有名なホットケーキ屋のチェーンだが、教会をそのまま改装して利用している。

ブリスベンにあるのだが、とてもお洒落だと思った。
It’s in Brisbane and I thought it was very stylish.
ちなみに、日本ではホットケーキだが、オーストラリアなどではパンケーキという。
By the way, in Japan it’s called a hotcake, but in Australia and other countries it’s called a pancake.
また、台風も日本は台風だが、アメリカではハリケーン、ヨーロッパではサイクロンと呼ぶ。
Typhoons are also called typhoons in Japan, hurricanes in the United States, and cyclones in Europe.
